It is the only constant. Slowly or quickly, change is always in motion. This new season has moved us into the winter time change, the huge election change, expected temperature change, environmental changes all around us, but soon the constant will arrive in the traditional holidays we so enjoy.
Four Seasons at Elm Tree residents will celebrate Veteran’s Day once again with a morning ceremony featuring our Seasons’ Singers, flag raising, and brief comments.
Some new neighbors have purchased homes next door, so we introduce ourselves and invite them to attend some activities, always noted on our monthly calendar and detailed in our newsletter. The Library has added more books, the Fireplace Room has a new dart board, complete with an instructive evening for beginners, and the Bowling League has been playing, replacing golf awhile. Book Club and Movie Reviews continue as popular gatherings, especially during winter months, cozier inside our clubhouse.
As we begin Christmas shopping, planning for family fun and guests, checking Black Friday deals, and assigning Thanksgiving food preparations, we know landscaping will be done for us, our property manager can answer our concerns readily, and our volunteer Board will be available to assist us when needed.
There is comfortable routine; there is familiar structure; but there certainly is always change.
