New Quarter

                                                                    NEW QUARTER

Here we go…into the second quarter of this century! Wow! Many expectations for which to be hopeful, and many memories to sift through and smile, hopefully! Hope is the key to happiness for so many reasons.
Here at Four Seasons at Elm Tree, we’ve managed the low, low temperatures for weeks with more to come among the snow and sleet storms. Parkas, earmuffs, gloves and heaters are being used constantly. Thankfully, we can relax as contractors shovel and remove snow accumulations. A little sand can alleviate slippery walkways.
Ongoing activities bring us to our clubhouse regularly…yoga, exercising, Book Group and Movie Night are scheduled on our calendar, always available on our website. Happy Hours and Social Committee events also are listed. The Board’s Capital Projects’ Study has updated works done and some anticipated for this new year. We’re in good hands!
Martin Luther King day will add an extended weekend for some families to go touring, skiing, hiking locally. Lancaster offers many opportunities to focus on winter-adapted wildlife, migratory birds, changes in trees and fauna as we might notice while walking. Very soon, Saturday, the 3rd, has the Wolf Moon, a super moon, appearing….again, hopefully visible to us!
Bright fireworks have lit the sky as January evolves with fun and good times ahead. Oh, and don’t forget Winnie the Pooh Day is the 18th!
