Four Seasons at Elm Tree Women’s Association Begins New Year
Posted on Jan 30th, 2015

It’s so wonderful to work with an enthusiastic group of ladies!

At its first meeting of 2015, the Women’s Association recounted the events held, social trips taken, speakers and workshops enjoyed at the monthly meetings, and the U.S. Troops and charities we supported over the past year.  We continue to become more involved within and outside the Community, and more hands are needed to share in the tasks necessary to keep the Association running with the same gusto.  Fortunately, the ladies agreed and volunteered their time and talents in specific areas of interest.  So, as we reorganize, look to see many more names and faces sharing in the responsibilities of Four Seasons Women’s Association.

Our meetings for the upcoming months will be as varied and interesting as in the past.  At our February 6th meeting, one of our residents will instruct those in attendance on wine glass painting, no previous experience is needed.  What a great way to spend a cold winter afternoon!  Those who are participating will be able to bring home a one-of-a-kind hand painted wine glass.

Would you be interested in learning the fine art of lettering?  Get your pens ready!  In March, one of our resident artists, will be holding a workshop to teach us the basics of Calligraphy.  As spring approaches, in addition to engaging a speaker on Financial Advising for Women, we will have someone from the Office of Aging addressing any concerns. As you can see, those in charge of programs have been busy!

All ladies in the Community are welcome to join us at future meetings.  We usually meet the first Friday of each month at 12:30 in the Library.  We’ll keep you posted with our happenings (events, social outings, fund raising projects) in future emails.

Four Seasons at Elm Tree is the premier active 55+ community in Lancaster County, PA.
