2025. Here we are now, 25 years from the Millennium! One quarter of
the century gone. How the world and even we have changed during those
years!
In an over-55 community such as Four Seasons at Elm Tree, it becomes
easier to contemplate what’s ahead and what we’ve learned from what’s
left behind. Neighbors have become ready friends who often have similar
experiences to share, enabling us to think farther and mull over our
personal events with new possibilities.
Rather than beginning the new year with restrictions, let us start on the
right foot, relishing all the good things! Many are quite simple
pleasures…family recipes enjoyed with memories, that hole-in-one bringing
another grin, photos we forgot were boxed away then found and treasured
anew, a favorite book reviewed with friends…
Many good times have come from our Four Seasons’ activities. Plenty
more are upcoming via information in our monthly newsletter and all emails
alerting us to what’s happening here. Winter brings closeness for warmth
as well and talks and entertainments. Check our calendar, visit the
clubhouse to be involved more, as a volunteer or resident guest.
Robert Brown wrote: “We’ll take a cup o’ kindness yet for auld lang
syne!” with the last few words meaning old long since. Remember but go
forward!
