October's weather

“October’s Bright Blue Weather”

But it’s red and yellow and green and orange…Autumn is bursting with colors around Four Seasons at Elm Tree! Just walk along and enjoy the houses and yards decorated with all varieties of pumpkins and gourds among the chrysanthemums. Or ride your bike, walk the dog, stroll down to the clubhouse for a gathering again, and be cheered noticing the colorful sights.
The sun’s angle is lessening, but we can read in our monthly newsletter and calendar of many more hours of fun from new and ongoing activities in our over-55 community. Fall offers a new Medicare Seminar at our clubhouse as well as renewed covered dish suppers. Monthly luncheons out for the men and women are anticipated so as to try different restaurants. At our monthly board meeting this month, we’ll be shown new spirit wear as an opportunity to fundraise a bit for the clubhouse refurbishment. The yard sales last month helped to jump-start that effort well! Lighting and fitness room equipment there have been updated already.
It’s easy to enjoy this season where we live, given so many harvest festivals and farm stand offerings, changing leaves and good walking trails. “Love loveth best of all the year October’s bright blue weather”.
