Streaks and Splashes

 

     Colors galore! Scarlet to yellows to drying browns…and an Indian Summer, the pseudo summer after the first chill mid-fall! There’s nothing mellow about this autumn! We, at Four Seasons Elm Tree here in Mount Joy, PA, continue to welcome new neighbors, join the various activities planned by our Social Committee, and enjoy all around us as the seasons change once again. 

     Veteran’s Day will bring our annual gathering, complete with our Seasons’ Singers; we’ve had our flu shots as scheduled conveniently for us; we’ll vote on time with notes mentioned in our newsletter, and we’ll attend the HOA budget presentation. All of this and more is planned well by us, the volunteers throughout this community! We can visit the committee meetings and join as members. This helps all of us by creating unity and friendships. 

     Don’t forget to set all clocks and watches back an hour! Another  dinner out event and a covered dish supper are scheduled on the calendar; a dance evening at the clubhouse is printed there, too! Our town library will give us more helpful information if we attend that new program; it’s enlightening to know and use all that it offers, free! 

     By the end of the month, holiday times will have us scurrying a bit more as we start decorating the clubhouse for the weeks ahead. Is snow ahead, too? Change is the only constant.
