THNX
Or TY…even of you don’t text, there are so many words and actions to say Thank You to everyone you wish! As residents of an over-55 community, we, at Four Seasons at Elm Tree, have had years of experiences educating ourselves as kinder, more giving individuals. Where we have chosen to live, here in Lancaster County, has proven to be an exceptionally giving place!
Of course, in November, our community gave our annual tribute to military veterans, here and far, with a flag-raising ceremony benefited by the Four Seasons Singers’ performance. We donated to the Mount Joy Food Bank via an affiliation with local Boy Scouts, and we contribute to this monthly with food and volunteers. So many ways to offer help locally and within the community are mentioned in our newsletter and through the grapevine!
We are always grateful to our committee volunteers and our board members, who work so well on our behalf. This was evidenced well recently when notices were prompt to explain snow removal. And, living
here makes us especially happy to avoid that effort, but instead allows usto relax and watch the snowflakes blow by, beautifying all we see.
Once again, we will be celebrating our years of enjoying meeting new residents to this neighborhood at a festive meal in our clubhouse, decorated for the holidays. We share increased diversity and enjoyment of
knowing each other better through various social events planned by all involved. Everyone may take part and offer their talents and time. Listen to some neighbors, caroling at your door, sooner than we think! Yes, the days are filled with thoughts of family, giving and “thank you’s” as holidays
approach.
