Redoing!

“And now let us welcome the new year, full of things that have never been.” R. M. Rilke
We will!…welcome 2023… and readjust to our over-55 lives here at Four Seasons at Elm Tree, Mount Joy, PA; we will choose to make changes, start something different, move more, get out and about for unexpected experiences!
We shall be among 7.9 billion people in our world right now doing many similar things to learn what’s ahead this year! Could be a type of synchronicity, finding that the more open we are, the more connections we’ll encounter among each other or perfect strangers! As human beings, we are engaged in an ongoing discussion with life! We must quietly listen to what it might be telling us, open our ears and minds to alerts and wonderings.
There is quiet here, especially walking outdoors throughout the neighborhood, looking, thinking, chatting with those we may meet along the route. Conversations at the clubhouse might help us find some answers, some points of view we hadn’t considered. Gatherings there throughout the month, meetings, entertainments, and simple greetings giving us updates of community activities and residents still around for the snowy days to come, will add to our thoughts and ideas for changes.
“For last year’s words belong to last year’s language, and next year’s words await another voice.” T. S. Eliot
