Ending 2023
Posted on Dec 1st, 2023

The Farmer’s Almanac predicts snowflakes, shivers and slush…but we shall have lights, warmth and neighborly enjoyment as we prepare for the last holidays of this year! Countdown has begun! 25, 24,…
Our popular Four Seasons’ Singers will offer us their new performance on Sunday, the 3rd at 3 p.m. in the Great Room of our clubhouse. There is always a crowd, listening to uplifting music, bringing seasonal joy.
We know many committees and groups won’t meet this month, but we can enjoy the Fireside visit at the clubhouse and the ladies’ and men’s luncheons out. Our monthly newsletter keeps us abreast of all scheduled activities, where and when! This month, we have additional information included regarding our community’s snow removal and home security while we’re away with family and friends.
Biking, walking, and workroom exercising continues to help us stay fit and well. The morning routines in the Fireplace Room are ongoing. Meanwhile, we hope to add more food to the Mount Joy Food Bank containers in the back hallway. Our thoughtfulness and generosity is so appreciated by those who benefit.
Throughout the month, we readily cultivate awe, that positive feeling we have when thinking of others, giving spontaneously, watching or creating simple joys around us. Ben Franklin said: “A good conscience is a continual Christmas.”  Peace and Happy Holidays to All!
