The middle of March and the middle of aging bring attitude adjustments to what’s ahead! In an over-55 community such as Four Seasons at Elm Tree, people and activities offer so much of what is well and good for all of us. Daily exercise and use of our Fitness Room offer active solutions to ensure we all can thrive as time goes by. Aging is a dynamic process that leads to new abilities and knowledge we can share within our community. It’s the “Building Momentum” metaphor.
Longer, lighter days towards the spring season become a stimulus for our being outdoors more often, using our footpath up to the park, roaming the neighborhood and even walking to the little mall down the drive for many things there. So many businesses are nearby to end a good walk now and then, counting our 10,000 steps.
Of course, inside the newly refurbished clubhouse this month, we welcome Happy Hours and the International Dinner, offered on St. Patrick’s Day, however, we can choose from a food fest from many countries other than Ireland!
Golfers are already out, as are those on bikes and motorcycles. Bowlers haven’t stopped and Pickle Ball groups are forming! Neighbors are returning from their southern vacations to catch up with all that’s new and busy here.
We’ve emphasized the buddy approach to help immediate neighbors who may be away even a short time. Another way that safety and security are top-listed for all of us! Newcomers are finding out how much is available so easily and so quickly from experienced residents. The homework is done already to find service people plus the best places to bring visiting friends and relatives. Our monthly newsletter’s classified ads and recommendations are an immediate assist!
Seasons change as much as we are, being busy here at Four Seasons at Elm Tree!
