No May Daze Here!

 

     April doesn’t show many signs of leaving like a lamb any more than March did! But, the Greek earth goddess, Maia, might bring us those warmer, sunnier days for which we’ve longed during our hibernation here at Four Seasons at Elm Tree. Some of us weathered another successful yard sale, and others learned many worthwhile points from attending the Elder Law program recently.

    But, travel plans are moving closer to reality now for many in our over-55 community as summer months appear! We can prepare by shopping at stores just 20 minutes away and try on new capris and shorts without bulky outerwear making that a chore! And, sandals are much easier to flip on after rising later in the morning to sit on the patio, sip coffee, lounge over the newspaper or our latest book. 

     We’ll be meeting new neighbors one evening soon, then conveniently enjoying the Four Seasons Singers spring concert down the road in our clubhouse with friends. As always, the golfers, Bocce players and Pickleball group will be outdoors getting their exercise and Sunshine Vitamin D! So many of us anticipate the swimming pool’s opening day, just before the annual Memorial Day Barbeque where we can initiate the new planter’s seated side, a boon to overflow entertaining there.

     On the first day of May, put the traditional posey basket on your neighbor’s door as a surprise! Of course, also vote on Primary Election Day, but we do vote to enjoy more time and activities right here at Four Seasons at Elm Tree.
