GROWTH

 

     Seeds and sprouts have been planted, watered and tended as we wait for no more frost warnings! Four Seasons at Elm Tree’s residents have no worries about lawn care, edging, mulching, weeding and fertilizing. Fresh air is drawn through the window screens, patio furniture is replaced, hoses are hung, and power washing is heard throughout the community! 

    One third of the year is gone, but warmer weather brings more activity. The Bowling Luncheon was held; Pickleball has begun; the Kentucky Derby Party at the clubhouse is nearly here. Mothers will be treated extra well on their big day! The calendar is filled w/even more events scheduled right through until Memorial Day BBQ! And the swimming pool will be reopened by then!

     Our Board has annual elections this month, done electronically this year! The Board also has several good plans to maintain our neighborhood well, including resurfacing parts of the walking path and the new automatic doors on the clubhouse entrance. 

    The white egret reappeared on Pond #1 along w/a few ducks. Varieties of birds are nesting in our trees and bushes. No matter what time of the year or season, plants can bring us a sense of peace, calm, hope, and well-being. Whether indoors or out, we benefit from their presence and the time we take to observe and care for them. Take a walk around the streets of our development, and enjoy the special designs of each home’s blossoms, bursting now in spring sunshine.
