Amid traveling and guests, residents of Four Seasons at Elm Tree try to fit in many activities as the summer's outdoor days go by.

Fourth of July picnic brought out so many folks this year to reacquaint and catch up while enjoying barbeque fare by the pool. Of course, the pool itself is always a go-to spot to meet friends and neighbors while lounging and relaxing to beat the heat. And, our grandchildren love to join us for a swim when they visit! The spa there is a pleasant  bonus for us and certainly is soothing to aches and pains! And, we have water aerobics twice a week as an exercise alternative.

The special Hot Dog Nights have made chefs of some of us as we gather to cookout, share side dishes and talk. There are just a few of these nights left and there are even rain dates so we don't miss! An ice cream social featuring a Barbershop Quartet as entertainment is scheduled soon, rain or shine.
Bocce has been resumed this summer each Sunday evening behind the clubhouse, complete with a cheering section, and now a tennis pro has offered free guidance to any of us interested in using our courts to better our games. Of course, the golfers, walkers and bikers keep up their fun during beautiful summer days in our over-55 community.
