    With beautifully colored sunsets setting the pace, we at Four Seasons at Elm Tree have enjoyed the bright days of warming sunshine and our cooling swimming pool. Evenings offer the tennis courts, Bocce ball, many routes to walk and see how well the myriad flowers are blooming throughout the neighborhood, and, of course, a few Hot Dog & Hamburger Nights at poolside!

    Golfers and Pickle Ball enthusiasts continue to meet regularly, honing their skills. Red, white and blue colors decorated the 4th of July Picnic again as they did the flags, banners and bunting on many houses here in our over-55 community. Even a few pet dogs were adorned along with their owners for this annual occasion!

    Grandchildren and families visiting are gathering at the pool more often and grilled food can be detected at supper time quite easily. Some of us even have a few tomatoes and vegetables growing for our summer meals with bumper crops of zucchini and more. We also are preparing our community’s September garage sale with constant cleaning out and reorganizing, so it should be better than last year’s event.

    Whether we’re up early for an invigorating walk or lounging on our patios with a chilled drink later in the day, we are happy to be retired in such a well-run development.
