Fiery August

     One of the zodiac fire signs is Leo the lion, above the August horizon, in a month of two supermoons and the famous Perseids’ meteor showers, coming August 12. Venus and Mercury will be shining there as Saturn rises gradually. A sky full of sparkle and fire this month! 

     Four Seasons at Elm Tree residents will continue to have many activities under the hot sun and bright stars! Of course, our salt water swimming pool is open the rest of the month, always so enjoyable, especially in the heat waves. Extra fun is scheduled for a dance evening, another hamburger-hotdog night, bingo, a movie, and Meet the New Neighbors’ gathering. 

     Most of our world embraces the siesta culture, and that’s so easy to do amid warmer days and nights, but our clubhouse shows busyness so often at the Workout Center, Billiards’ Room, or Library. Water aerobics continues along with exercising and yoga, golfing, tennis and Pickleball played in the newly refurbished courts! Bridge, card and board games bring us together. Walking is still a constant as we use the township park’s path right behind our houses! 

      Beaches and vacations call, but there are plenty of things to do with friends and neighbors here, which are always noted in the month newsletter and on our calendar for easy reference. Be cooler and busier as summer wanes!
