     On Saturday, July 23, the clubhouse became the place to be! It was time to celebrate with all of us together that we were settled in and here for a long time to come!

     The Social Committee and the Activities Club have worked tirelessly since January to plan, order and coordinate the events of the day and it appeared to be time well spent. Stan Tucker, DJ extraordinaire, entertained us; Peggy kept our attention with special gifts from the community and Karen, the committee members and hired staff kept us well fed and furnished with cool beverages all afternoon.

The board of directors, past and present, worked with us to create the basis for such an event. "Party Decorators" from our neighborhood worked for nearly eight hours over two days to make the rooms, pool and patio areas inviting. Most of the food disappeared on the spot and many stayed to assist with clean up. It takes a village...

     The current board president as well as the resident whose house formed the foundation for the neighborhood addressed the crowd.  In both cases they were proud residents and glad to see so many in attendance.

     We shared a champagne toast, good food and friendships old and new. And when the lights went out, we realized just how fortunate we are to live here together!

     Thank you to all who make this a very special place to live. As we discover who we are and who our friends here are we also discover much about ourselves. It takes the whole village even on very hot days to make life great!
