The Fourth Season
Posted on Sep 11th, 2016

If we begin with The Winter Season as The First Season, let's consider upcoming Autumn as The Fourth Season! Here, at Four Seasons at Elm Tree, we continue to overlap seasonal fun. But the September 22 Equinox will herald fall activities even though some of them have begun already.
Our swimming pool and hot tub have closed, but neighbors back from the beach are signing up with us for bowling, exercising or pickleball. In an active over-55 community, the calendar can fill easily! Especially inviting are the Bagel Bash and Covered Dish Suppers, returning as our numbers increase again for the fall. Grandkids are back in school, so we can enjoy kitchen preparations using locally harvested fruits and vegetables and feasting with friends thereafter.
Golfers may switch to bowlers as teams are formed. The highly-regarded Four Seasons Singers are rehearsing again for several holiday concerts in the area. The Women's Association is continuing interesting programs for us; the next is updating long-term care which is so relevant to over-55's!
The weather may say Summer; however, we know the mums and pumpkins are decorating the community...the Season is upon us!
