     Are you pumpkin spicing everything? The choices for both food and decor are amazing! Locally, gourds’ farms and roadside stands offer many items to use or to begin your own creations. Our Four Seasons at Elm Tree community shows off various tastes for outside autumn themed designs. Walks around the neighborhood bring ideas and smiles. 

     Inside the clubhouse, we continue to attend book and movie reviews, yoga and exercise sessions, make library book choices, play pool, have workouts, and more activities we create together and enjoy. 

     Volunteers on our committees bring us useful information and new thinking about what we have here. While football games and hardier cooking take some of our time this Fall, we still can plan for the ladies’ and men’s luncheons out, pickleball, flu shots scheduled for us, and election day voting preparations. Our monthly calendar gives us up to date listings for planning all we choose to do here. 

     Crisp is the word often used to describe the air this season, but crushing leaves underfoot and crackling fires in the fireplaces are anticipated with joy as much as candy corn, apple cider and October blue skies under the Corn Moon! Light your Jack-o-Lantern and enjoy Hallowe’en!
