Coloring Summer

Coloring Summer
Red, white and blue, decorating so many spots around Four Seasons at Elm Tree, was usual for July, but green lawns, yellow corn, aquamarine pool water and multi-colored flowers have offered even more happy sights.
Sunny days at Four Seasons at Elm Tree were seasonably hot, conducive to the many outdoor activities we’ve chosen to try.  Meanwhile, bocce players, golfers, water aerobics devotees and others have added to their schedules other weekly activities or extra walking through our neighborhood with friends.Home from vacations, we will sign up for the luncheons again to catch up with one another, attend committee meetings and resume local volunteering.
The last Hot Dog & Burger Night will be followed closely by the Labor Day Picnic and swimming pool closing, officially ending summer in our over-55 community. Many of the farm markets’ produce will be missed, however, we are quite fortunate to have year-around markets available for a variety of local foods.
Our volunteer board and the Landscape and Facility Committees’members have maintained a beautiful development for us here throughout the sun and rain all season. Therefore, we often can see our world here through rose-colored glasses! Plenty of R&R, and colors!
