     Month four, with one fourth of the year gone! Four Seasons at Elm Tree residents are returning home from winter retreats, perhaps checking the monthly calendar for the first landscaping work…mulching all around our houses this year, wondering if it’s the time for driveway repaving, planning new perennials, patios, sunrooms. 

     New neighbors are becoming accustomed to the many activities scheduled at the clubhouse, seeing dates for events off premises, noticing all available opportunities for games, exercising, book or movie times, monthly luncheons, library offerings, and almost anything one could organize! 

     Our Board has made some upgrades and beneficial changes. For example, the new electronic voting will be used for May’s elections. Nominations are being accepted now. Checking the Board and Committees’ websites gives us all the information necessary for answers to questions. 

     Many of us continue to be actively involved here. Once contemplated, there is time to carve out for volunteering among us; find an appealing committee or group, maybe sit at a meeting first, then give yourself permission to revise your regular schedule adding a worthwhile way to spend some time each month or so. New season! New experience!
