     It’s here! We love the new season of cooler, crisp air, the red, yellow and orange leaf hues brilliant against the bright blue sky! Living in a  wonderful farming area, we see pumpkins and chrysanthemums everywhere, decorating our homes, inside and out. Four Seasons at Elm Tree in Mount Joy really glows during this time. Our walks in the community and just up the hill in the township park bring us even more contacts with neighbors and friends, particularly with dogs! 

     Despite the salt water pool being closed, exercise opportunities are offered in the clubhouse workout room, fully outfitted for many people for their wants and needs. Of course, we have monthly book, movie, and yoga groups to attend. Travel group considers many choices, and our monthly ladies’ and men’s luncheons at many different restaurants are welcoming. 

     Facilities’ Committee has made sure the next group of driveways were sealed well. Bushes and trees are scheduled for trimming soon by our landscape contractor. We also have a group of neighborhood ambassadors who will readily show the amenities here, especially inside our clubhouse. Realtors should be notified of this special offering which is so advantageous.

     As the month progresses, we shall feel the temperatures changing, and prepare for Daylight Savings’ Time once again on October 31. Fall back!

     Trim your perennials, cover the patio furniture, buy some pie apples fresh from the farm, and find your wooly sweaters! The fun of Fall is upon us!
